Been around here a while but mostly stay silent. Topic's too close, couldn't stay quiet. What I can share from the road: local transport is a whole thing, takes a day or two just to figure out. The main thing I've learned after a lot of trips: booking accommodation on the spot is a lottery, especially in season.
